About CompatHub

Software lifecycle intelligence from official sources — so teams can see what is supported, what is aging out, and what to plan next.

What we do

CompatHub tracks version lines, support windows, and end-of-life dates for languages, runtimes, databases, and operating systems. Every fact is tied back to vendor documentation or first-party machine-readable feeds so you can trust where a date came from.

We collect raw documents, normalise them into a canonical model (products, version lines, releases, lifecycle periods), and derive current status and risk — rather than maintaining a hand-edited spreadsheet of EOL dates.

How the data is built

Collectors pull from official sources on a schedule. Examples include Microsoft .NET release indexes, Canonical Ubuntu release documentation, Debian distro-info data, and MySQL GA / release-note surfaces. Each ingest run stores provenance so a lifecycle claim can be traced to its source.

Who it is for

Engineering, platform, and security teams that need a single place to check whether a stack component is still in standard support, heading into security-only maintenance, or already past EOL.
