If you submit the contact form, the site sends the fields you enter—name, email address, optional phone number and message—to our server via contact-form.php so we can read and respond. Update the recipient address in that PHP file on your server before production use.
When you use DNS Lookup, your browser sends the domain or URL you enter and the record type you select to api/dns-lookup.php (JSON POST). That input is used only to perform the lookup and return results. The API applies per-IP rate limiting; a hashed identifier derived from your IP address and recent request timestamps may be stored temporarily in server-side files under api/.rate-limit/.
Our hosting provider and web server (Nginx/PHP) may automatically log technical data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer, browser user-agent and response status. We do not control the exact retention of those logs—see your host’s documentation.
Pages load some assets from third-party hosts, including Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), Font Awesome via Cloudflare CDN and legacy Font Awesome CDN links referenced in HTML/CSS. Those providers may receive your IP address and technical request data when your browser fetches resources. We do not currently embed third-party analytics or advertising scripts in the Compathub HTML reviewed for this policy.
See our Cookie Policy. The Compathub pages we reviewed do not set their own marketing or analytics cookies in JavaScript; browsers may still store ordinary HTTP cookies if the server or a third-party asset sets them.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis: providing the Service at your request, legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention, consent where required for non-essential cookies, and legal obligation.
We may share information with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery for the contact form) and authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information. If you add analytics, advertising or other third-party services later, update this policy to name them.
Contact messages: kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records unless you ask for deletion where applicable. Rate-limit files: rolling window (about one minute of timestamps per IP hash). Server logs: per hosting settings.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a small static/PHP site, but no system is perfectly secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing, or object to processing. Contact us via the contact form. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
The Service is not directed at children under 16.
